Join the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority (DSDA) on their February Downtown tours of Statesboro to taste some coffee from our local coffee shops and learn a little more about our Downtown!

Due to Covid-19, our monthly First Fridays are on hold. But in order to keep the community involved in what Downtown is offering, we are starting a new initiative called Downtown Tours: Discovering all the antique wonders and history from beautiful Downtown Statesboro with walking tours around the downtown area.

The tours will start at the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority office on Main Street and will highlight local businesses, showing the beautiful history of Statesboro.

Tour dates are February 12 at 10:30am & 1:30pm / February 27 at 11:30am & 2:00pm. These tours are free, however we request people to pre-register as we are limiting the size of groups and practicing social distancing. This tour will feature samples provided by Three Tree Coffee Roasters, The Daily Grind, Sugar Magnolia Bakery & Cafe, Cool Beanz Espresso Bar.

Each month, the DSDA will choose a theme related to the stops that our guides will follow. This month the theme is coffee “Warm in the Winter”.

Downtown Tours is a new initiative for us and our hope is that we can use this as an opportunity to highlight local businesses and bring more people downtown to shop, eat and play. We are thankful for our 2021 sponsors Georgia Power, Cinnaholic and Core Credit Union.

"Downtown Statesboro has a variety of unique shops, tasty restaurants and the greatest concentration of entrepreneur owned businesses. Support these small shops and show them some love in 2021" said, Allen Muldrew executive director for Downtown Statesboro Development Authority.
