Live music returns to the Emma Kelly Theater on Friday, August 21 with local band, The Ripleys.

Formed by legendary local musician Jerry Roberson, The Ripleys is a popular cover band is fronted by amazing vocalists Rachel Elkins and Ashley Whittemore.

Playing pop music that you loved but had forgotten about, Roberson plays keyboards, Lyons native Michael “Redbone” Walker is on bass, Gabriel Petkewich from Statesboro is on drums and Mike King, an upcoming junior at Southeast Bulloch High School, is playing lead guitar. The Brooklet native is filling in for regular Pete Bragg, who is on hiatus.

Due to strict social distancing guidelines, reserved seating is very limited for the show, which is sponsored by Queensborough National Bank and Trust.

Tickets will only be sold at the Averitt Center Box Office (33 East Main Street) or by calling the ticket office at 912-212-2787.

Tickets are $15 per person.
