Thursday, April 16th The Rotary Club of Statesboro will be preparing lunch for all Bulloch County Heroes.  The lunch, beginning at 11:30, is for anyone on the front lines, including essential workers in addition to public safety and health care workers.  Curbside lunch is being provided in the parking lot of the former Nevil Tire building, located at 2900 Northside Drive West, directly across from Bulloch Telephone on Highway 80 West.

They will be complying with social distancing and ask everyone who wants a free lunch to drive through the parking lot and stay in your car.  They will provide you a meal.

“We know there are a lot of people in our community who are stepping up in extraordinary ways and we wanted to do this to thank all of them,” said Brad Williams, V.P. Dabbs-Williams Construction and Chairman of The Rotary Club of Statesboro.  “Of course we want all of the health care and first responders to come by, but we also want the ladies making masks and the grocery store employees and employees of other essential businesses who are risking their safety to serve our community.”

The Rotary Club of Statesboro is one of two Rotary Clubs in Statesboro.  This club meets at noon on Mondays.
