Hospitality Food Drop FT

City of David Worship Assembly, located at 227 Institute Street in Statesboro, is hosting a FREE Emergency Food Distribution provided by Second Harvest Food Bank tomorrow, Thursday, April 16th beginning at 10:30 AM.  This distribution is focused on the tourism, hospitality and restaurant industry employees who have been displaced from work because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Second Harvest is actively hosting Mobile Food Pantry distributions across their 21 county service area.  The drops are open to anyone with a need, but they encourage participants to take what they need at this time and be mindful of others who also are in need.

However, Thursday’s distribution is focused on citizens of Bulloch County who are displaced or unemployed from the tourism, hospitality and restaurant industries.

If you are not displaced or recently unemployed from the tourism, hospitality or restaurant industries, please give others the opportunity to receive food assistance.

For more information on food assistance and other help go to www.bullochcountyvoad.org
