In a social media post today, East Georgia Regional Medical Center shared a video of the first COVID-19 patient to be treated and released at the hospital.
We agree, this is wonderful news and a great reason to celebrate.
According to Bulloch County Public Safety, there are ten confirmed positive cases and five are hospitalized at EGRMC.
The 7 PM DPH report is showing only 9 cases for Bulloch County. We assume the patient released today is removed from the list.
There at 9,156 confirmed positive cases statewide, 1,899 of which are currently hospitalized and 348 deaths our of 33,785 total test statewide.
