Freeze Warning brings Urgent Need for Blankets and Coats for homeless and needy citizens

The National Weather Service has issued a Freeze warning for Bulloch County from 10 PM tonight to 10 AM Wednesday morning.  They are predicting Sub-Freezing temperatures as low as 28-30 degrees with significant wind and wind chill.
Bulloch VOAD is reporting that inventories of coats and blankets are critically low at Fostering Bulloch Hope Chest and Christian Social Ministry.  These are the agencies that public safety and  organizations in our community rely on to provide warming items to citizens in need.

Blanket and Coat Donations Needed

Agencies are requesting donations of new or gently worn winter coats and blankets to be delivered to:
