Father and son duo, Thomas and Tom Mckeithen, owners of Statesboro’s McKeithen True Value Hardware are celebrating one year in business this Saturday.  They built the brand new, family owned True Value hardware last year at 58 Independence Way (Behind Wild Wings off of Fair Road).   McKeithen’s has become a local favorite over the past year.  They made a commitment to do business differently by providing a level of customer service that is unmatched.  They also are very focused on making our community a better place to call home by supporting non profits and community causes that make a difference.

“Our goal is to provide exceptional, knowledgeable and friendly service at competitive prices in a store that is convenient and easily accessible,” said Thomas McKeithen said. “Growing up, my dad and I made almost weekly trips to the locally owned hardware store. The relationships we developed there really shaped my childhood. We want to replicate that here.”

Certainly their customers will agree that they have met and exceeded these goals.  Stop in this weekend, meet the McKeithen’s and their family and enjoy some great deals while also helping some great causes.

Join them Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM for their One Year Anniversary Sale and festival.   Some of the specials include a 20% off bucket sale benefiting Habitat Bulloch.  A $2.oo donation to Bulloch County’s  Habitat for Humanity gets you a five gallon bucket.  McKeithen’s will give you 20% off of whatever you can fit in the bucket.  Get a $20 gift card with purchase of any Stihl unit and a  $50 gift card with purchase of any Ariens or Gravely lawn mower.   They will have awesome giveaways, Stihl & Gravely product demos, and special guests including Tim “Saw Carver” Davis, 920 Cattle & Company, Farm Mart, Fun Jumps and Slides, Bulloch County Fire Department, Bulloch County Humane Society and a rock climbing wall from Boy Scouts of America!
