Early Voting Started for Brooklet

Early voting City of Brooklet and will continue through Friday, November 1st. The City of Brooklet is coordinating the city election in house. Early voting is also going on now for the City of Statesboro and Town of Register.

Early voting City of Brooklet and will continue through Friday, November 1st.  The City of Brooklet is coordinating the city election in house.  Early voting is also going on now for the City of Statesboro and Town of Register.  Those elections are handled by Pat Jones, Bulloch County Election Supervisor.  Click here for information on early voting in those elections.

City of Brooklet:

Mayor of Brooklet (No Incumbent) Charlie Howell and Joe Grooms, III are running for Mayor

Post 1 (No Incumbent) Nicky Gwinnett, Jr. and Jason Randall Knight are running for Post 1

Post 2 (No Incumbent) Brad Anderson and Ed Dinello are running for Post 2

If your voter registration is within the city limits of Brooklet you are eligible to vote.

There are three ways to vote if you live in the City of Brooklet

❖ EARLY/ADVANCE VOTING

Early and advanced voting is in person, no excuse voting.  Early voting began on October 14 th and will continue to Friday, November 1st from 8:30 AM to 5:30 pm at Brooklet City Hall, 104 Church Street

Go to the My Voter Page and you can check verify you live in the City of Brooklet and are registered and eligible to vote in the city election.  Once you click on this link it will take you to the MVP site where you will simply enter your first initial, last name, county and date of birth on the site to locate your information.

There will be NO SATURDAY VOTING

❖ MAIL-OUT ABSENTEE BALLOT

A voter can complete an Application for an Absentee Ballot for their Municipal election if eligible. Once they receive your application, they can mail your ballot to the address requested if outside of City of Brooklet or to the address where you are currently registered to vote in the City of Brooklet (or alternate address for physically disabled voter).
They will mail absentee ballots from October 14th to November 1st.

There is no voting on Monday, November 4th

❖ ELECTION DAY VOTING

On election day you will vote at the Brooklet Recreation Community Building, 416 Cromley Road Extension, North.

Go to www.mvp.sos.ga.gov to
✓ check to see if you’re registered to vote
✓ get directions to your polling place
✓ get an absentee application form
✓ get the times/location of early & advanced voting

BRING YOUR PHOTO ID WHEN VOTING

ID is required when voting……
– A GEORGIA DRIVER’S LICENSE; or
– Valid identification card “picture” issued by a branch,
department, agency or entity of the State of Georgia,
another state; or
– Valid United States passport; or
– Valid employee identification card containing a
photograph of and issued by any branch, department,
agency or entity of the United States government, this
state, or any county, municipality board, authority, or
– Other entity of this state; or valid US military
identification card with photograph; or
– Valid tribal identification card with photograph

REGISTER TO VOTE

If you have not already registered to vote it is to late to register for this election.  However, go ahead and register today so you will be eligible to vote in future election.
